Hi everyone,
(Sorry about the late post)
On Wednesday it was Anzac day. Anzac stand for ‘Australian and New Zealand Army Corps’
Anzac day is remembered once every year on the 25th of April. We remember all of the brave Australians and New Zealand men and woman who fought and served in the war. The men landed on the 25th of April, 1915, during the early stages of World War 1. On the day some of the men from Australia and New Zealand landed in Turkey, Galippoli, they landed at a place called Anzac Cove not knowing there would be a shower of bullets killing alot of them. They fought against the Turkish army for about 8 months before relizing that more men would get killed if they stayed any longer.
Some men and woman from Australia and New Zealand take part in a cermony on the 25th of April to remeber the sacrefices that the men and woman made during the war. Some people that served for the war are there too. People wear poppies as a sign on Anzac day.
I hope you remembered Anzac day and what the brave men and woman did on that day.

I think this is really cool that you honor your countrys sacrafices. I like your blog and think it is cool
